Little Havana Social Club ¡en casa! will bring home the sounds and spirit of the fiesta de barrio with a contemporary Miami touch. Rooted in tradition but also electric and cosmopolitan, the new monthly concert series Little Havana Social Club ¡en casa! will feature established artists such as Jahfe, Leslie Cartaya, and The Wizzards. Beginning Thursday, October 29, and continuing on November 19, and December 17, Little Havana Social Club ¡en casa! will weave the sweet swing of son into the rich history of Miami soul and R&B; surpise the audience with the unique atmosphere of Teatro Salvaje; mix ancient Afro-Venezuelan grooves and electronica; and tell us stories through the soul-flavored vocals of Keba or in the powerful poetry of Lyrical G from Guitars Over Guns. With the original artwork of Luis Valle aka El Chan Guri and hosted by the one-and only Latin Grammy nominated DJ and Producer Mr. Pauer, the Little Havana Social Club ¡en casa! series will air on Facebook @KoubekCenterMDC.
