SUMMARY:HUMAN RIGHTS FILM FESTIVAL OF MADRID 2022
DESCRIPTION:INDOOR EVENT – Free Parking \nThe Koubek Center and the Spanish Cultural Center of Miami present\, for the third year in a row\, a selection of films from the Human Rights Film Festival of Madrid. The event\, featuring films from Europe\, Latin America and Africa. The mission of the Human Rights Film Festival of Madrid is “To disseminate cinema that makes us reflect\, awakens consciences\, denounces injustices and reflects the social and cultural diversity of humanity. In the collective search for a sustainable humanity.” \nThis year’s festival addresses issues of global reach such as migration\, gender violence\, or the control of food by multinational corporations but then\, it also explores more personal matters\, such as bullying\, or the fight for respect and the right to a good life by those some states and institutions judge as “different.” The selection features films ranging in length from one to 37 minutes\, include both documentaries and works of fiction. All films will have subtitles in Spanish and English. \nEl Koubek Center y el Centro Cultural Español de Miami presentan\, por tercer año consecutivo\, una selección de películas del Festival de Cine ​y Derechos Humanos de Madrid. El evento​ contará ​con películas de Europa\, América Latina y África.\n\nLa misión del Festival de Cine y Derechos Humanos de Madrid es “Difundir un cine que haga reflexionar\, despierte conciencias\, denuncie injusticias y refleje la diversidad social y cultural de la humanidad. En la búsqueda colectiva de una humanidad sostenible”.\n\nEl festival de este año aborda temas de alcance global como la migración\, la violencia de género o el control de la alimentación por parte de las multinacionales pero luego\, también explora cuestiones más personales\, como el bullying\, o la lucha por el respeto y el derecho a una buena vida por parte de aquellos que algunos estados e instituciones juzgan como “diferentes”.\n\nLa selección cuenta con películas que van desde uno a 37 minutos de duración\, incluyendo tanto documentales como obras de ficción. Todas las películas ​tendrán subtítulos en inglés​ y en español​.
