Koubek Center is proud to continue its annual partnership with New World School of the Arts (NWSA) in a collaboration that will transform the Center and its gardens into an outdoor sculptural or performative exhibit developed and curated by New World School of the Arts Visual Arts Students. As the students produce their work, they will become visual/artist alchemist and create something new by reinterpreting, reimaging, or remixing the artwork at the exhibition at the New World, linking the two exhibitions. By contrasting the two, one in a white cube and one centered in the site-specific/experimental approach the students will look at the past and the future of artmaking, the collection and its legacy. The students will be led by NWSA faculty and alumni.
