A month previously\, his arrest under the accusation of endangering the security of the Cuban state had mobilised prominent intellectuals all over the world\, who wrote a letter to Fidel Castro calling for the release of the poet\, whose only sin had been to dissent through his poetic work. The writer’s mea culpa\, the recording of which is shown for the first time to the public\, marks the narrative line of a story including the testimonies of Gabriel García Márquez\, Julio Cortázar\, Mario Vargas Llosa\, Jean-Paul Sartre\, Jorge Edwards and Fidel Castro.

DESCRIPTION:Women in Theatre\, founded by Simbios Art Corp in collaboration with the Koubek Center\, is dedicated to supporting and empowering women in the theater industry. Since our inaugural season launch in October 2023\, we have received an overwhelmingly positive response from the community. Our events have fostered meaningful discussions and helped create a vibrant network of women theater professionals. \nThese events consist of sharing breakfast with women in the theater industry and featuring four panelists who speak about their careers to inspire\, motivate\, and create conversation with peers. The panels have a fee of $10 to cover breakfast costs\, and workshops have a fee of $20 to cover breakfast and provide a symbolic fee to the teacher. \nYour contributions would help inspire and empower our attendees\, many of whom are eager to learn from seasoned professionals like yourself.
