SUMMARY:MiND Theatre Workshop at the Koubek Center
DESCRIPTION:Si estás interesado en actuar\, bailar\, escribir y desarrollar tu creatividad al máximo este programa de Miami New Drama en colaboración con el Koubek Center y Limitless Health Institute es para ti. \nUna experiencia educativa innovadora enfocada en la escritura creativa\, la voz\, la danza\, el movimiento y la actuación.  Es completamente gratuita y pueden aplicar jóvenes entre 13 y 17 años – con o sin experiencia – interesados en formarse como actores con el poder de expresar su visión única. \nDurante 9 semanas los participantes explorarán nuevas herramientas de expresión  que les permitan abrir un diálogo desde la reflexión crítica y la propuesta artística con su comunidad. \nEl taller culminará con la presentación de una obra de teatro creada por ellos mismos en los espacios abiertos del Koubek Center y cuidando toda las medidas de bioseguridad.  (CDC guidelines) \nPara aplicar solo debes enviar antes del 25 de febrero un VIDEO de 60 segundos donde te presentes. ¡Mientras antes apliques más chance tienes de asegurar tu cupo! \n Para más información visita www.miaminewdrama.org o escribe a  education@miaminewdrama.org.

SUMMARY:Daniela Padrón + Henry Linarez
DESCRIPTION:A journey into the different musical traditions of Venezuela featuring Daniela Padrón\, Venezuelan-American violinist nominated to the Latin Grammy (2013)\, who adapts some of the most well know pieces of J.S. Bach into different Venezuelan Folkloric Rhythms including joropo\, gaita\, merengue\, among others. She has appeared at some of Venezuela’s most prestigious halls\, including Teresa Carreño Cultural Complex\, Central University of Venezuela\, and Lia Bermudez Arts Center. Daniela is a proud Orchestra Conductor of one of the Miami Music Project’s children orchestras. Daniela will be joined by Henry Linarez\, considered one of the great exponents of Venezuelan cuatro blending in his work Venezuelan folkloric traditions with jazz and classical music elements. A special presentation for Eduardo Padrón Campus Honor’s College Colloquium. \nUn recorrido por las diferentes tradiciones musicales de Venezuela con Daniela Padrón\, violinista venezolana-estadounidense nominada al Grammy Latino (2013)\, quien adapta algunas de las piezas más conocidas de J.S.Bach a diferentes ritmos folclóricos venezolanos como el joropo\, gaita\, merengue\, entre otros.Daniela ha tocado en algunas de las salas más prestigiosas de Venezuela\, como en el Complejo Cultural Teresa Carreño\, la Universidad Central de Venezuela y el Centro de Artes Lia Bermudez.Actualmente\,Daniela es directora de orquesta de una de las orquestas infantiles del Miami Music Project. Acompañando a Daniela estará Henry Linarez\, considerado uno de los grandes exponentes del cuatro venezolano fusionando en su obra las tradiciones folclóricas venezolanas con elementos del jazz y la música clásica.Una presentacion especial para el Coloquio Universitario del Departamento de Honores del Eduardo Padrón Campus.
