An exceptional player and daring composer, Spanish guitarist José Luis de la Paz has proven as comfortable working within the flamenco tradition as reimagining it with electronics or symphony orchestras. Not surprisingly, besides having five records under his name, he has collaborated with top flamenco singers and dancers including Carmen Linares, José Mercé, and Farruquito, but also with sound explorer Gustavo Matamoros, or the LA Philharmonic with Gustavo Dudamel.
